I'm having one of those days. Weeks. Years. So I'm cranky. So I'm going to make this comment here - in order to vent without getting in a SPA's face on Goodreads. This has appeared in the Feedback group:
"I'm so frustrated! My title, [redacted because I'm not giving this histrionic idiot any assistance], has been on Goodreads for over two years. I have over 250 ratings and 70 reviews. I used to show up in the search bar at the top of the screen, but as of a few months ago when you type in my title the book does not appear AT ALL. HOWEVER, another book called The Life List (by another author and was released LONG after mine) does show up. WHERE DID MY TITLE GO!? I'm getting numerous complaints by readers that they can't find me by title anymore and losing sales as result. PLease..SOMEONE at Goodreads fix this! Help me! It's killing me!"
At least she didn't say "It's literally killing me!", or "It's KILLING me", though not doing the latter may have caused injury. But ... Seriously? It's costing her sales because morons among her would-be readers can't find the book on Goodreads? The site has been bought by Amazon - it is not (yet) equivalent to Amazon...
Seriously, zombie apocalypse. Now, please. The world needs it.
